Should verifying a disk image work similar to a disk at all?
When verifying some JFDS that have been created recently through the verify option on the disk when mounted, they seem to show lots of errors at the end of the disk.
I am aware some have deliberate protection sectors and these won't verify, however some games which don't have copy protection seem to exhibit this behaviour.

Not a massive issue, as the games work fine, I just wondered if this is expected behaviour

That's expected behaviour, when imaging it only stores sectors that contain data and I've yet to add the code to ADFFS that will dynamically create missing sectors when they're touched...so you'll currently see disc errors if you verify a mounted image.
