FWIW, I went back and tried PM 0.98 on this machine, and it also doesn't recognise the partitions, but doesn't go funny colours like 0.99 does.

I've just noticed the blueness in 0.99 only happens when I resize the window. Not sure why I didn't twig that before - just a natural habit of resizing I think.

Looks like you hit the jackpot, with three bugs:
  • The Window indirect data is possibly getting corrupt, causing the Blue issue
  • SCSIFS wasn't detected
  • ZIDEFS has failed to read the partition table
I'll investigate.

Could you let me know which of these fail with the SCSI Podule?

Code: Select all

SYS "OS_SWINumberFromString",,"SCSI_Initialise"
SYS "OS_SWINumberFromString",,"SCSIFS_Drives"

Both of these issues should be fixed in the latest build.

Looks like it - working fine with that ZIDEFS podule/DOM now and no blue.

SYS "OS_SWINumberFromString",,"SCSI_Initialise"
SYS "OS_SWINumberFromString",,"SCSIFS_Drives"
Neither fail. Adding PRINTs, they return &403C1 and &40982 respectively.

Well that's bizarre as they're the only two checks for it to add "SCSIFS found" to the debug output - which is clearly missing in the debug log you posted.

Is there a SCSIFS Module?

Some kinda proof of what I've checked. Maybe function's not been called at all. Need to hack.

Yeah, it seems FNinitialise_SCSIFS is never called.

Are you using the Oak SCSI card under Arculator? Or a physical card?
