I am having trouble with getting the Extra Missions to load on Chocks Away from Chocks Away Compendium. I have tried to load the extra Missions disk, by double clicking !Chocks2 which loads and then asks for Game Disk 1 which I swap to, but it says Bad Drive 5870.
I am aware it needs Version 2 of Chocks Away, however I have both the compendium and a version of Chocks Away which says it is Version 2 on the box. The compendium disk 1 is called BlackBox and has a couple of extra folders which is slightly different to my other chocks away disk.
Any Ideas?
Thanks
Chocks Away Compendium Extra Missions
Re: Chocks Away Compendium Extra Missions
I've yet to look at any of the various releases of Chock Away Compendium (original, Mark 2, SA). I would guess it probably needs HD installing and probably just needs the contents of the Extras disc copying into the same folder as the game - that's a pure guess though.
EDIT: I've taken a quick look today. It looks like it has the usual convoluted protection method Fourth Dimension use, that kicks in when you run !Chocks_2, but the disc contents aren't encrypted as far as I can tell. There's various protection sectors mixed into the centre of the floppy.
I'll have to create the recording file and figure out how to HD install it, if possible.

Re: Chocks Away Compendium Extra Missions
Cheers Jon,
I have been playing around with it tonight and got it to run. I had to run configure filesystem ADFS (I run a ZIDEFS card in my machine) Once I did this, it loaded up correctly in ADFFS.
