JFD to ADF

Post by Pandemo69 »

Hello everyone.
Maybe you can help me. I try to convert JFD files to ADF files, just make them readable for the Gotek in my A3000.
I load the JFD file with ADFFS and "Save as" <name>/adf.
Copy the file to disk, formated DOS 1.44 and put it in the PC -> USB for Gotek.
This works with some Games like "Last Ninja", but not with other Games like "Magic Pocket".
The file should be ok, because i can start the Game on my A3010. But when i try to load it with Gotek, i get an "error 31".
Do you know why? And is there a way to solve this?

Thank you for any help.

Most games use disc protection, so will fail when saved as ADF. You would need to write a utility to image/convert a floppy to an HFEv3 file on the Arc, to achieve what you're after.
