Synopsis
The fine balance between the forces of order and chaos has been disrupted by a failed scientific experiment. Mankind's search for a method of interstellar travel lead them to the drastic measure of trying to punch a hole in the very fabric of space. Instead of unlocking the secrets of the universe all they succeeded in doing was to create a wave of chaotic energy which reverberated across space. This increase in chaotic power had dangerous side effects. Spheres of Chaos formed in space along with many kinds of chaotic creature. Nothing could stand in their way as they floated through the inky void.

A fleet of specially equipped space fighters were despatched to intercept the spheres and creatures before they could cause any damage. At close range the pilots loosed off a few rounds of laser fire at the harmless looking spheres. They were filled with horror as they saw that the spheres were not destroyed but multiplied in number. The creatures too divided into many parts, hunting for the source of energy which liberated them. The destruction of the spheres and creatures released yet more waves of chaotic power which, in turn, formed more spheres. Now the situation is critical and the pilots are using all their flying skills simply to stay alive!
