@Jon:

-James Pond 2 + (PLUS) has a strange behaviour: It starts on the first level directly now, instead of starting outside the castle as intended. When you exit the first level, you are BACK into this level again and again. Something is not well.
BUT scroll works much better now!!! (This game had a problem with scroll, it runs fine now).

Also, it happens with "normal" James Pond 2 (the version with the bad music) and bot hang the machine on quit via CTRL+ESC or CTRL+SHIFT+F12

-Just in case you dont see it with the page turn, Burn Out can not be installed from packman, and shows the same error as Elite.

It's the disc protection failing. I'll switch the package to mount and boot the floppy when I get a chance. Just make sure you've mounted the floppy before launching it, or just boot the floppy.

The scrolling issue was resolved three years ago, it was due to VIDC fixing the frame geometry at VDER - not VSync as you'd logically expect.

Yes, I also noticed issues when quitting via ESC. When I get a chance, I'll do some debugging.

I couldn't reproduce that issue, both versions of Burn'Out installed via PackMan for me. I guess it doesn't like the single quote on your machine for some reason.
