Re: AutoVIDC crashing Chuck Rock with VIDC enhancer board
Yes, I've come across this during my testing it's fixed but I've been having many, many stability issues with 2.09, thankfully, they're all sorted now. I've uploaded a new version of 209 which should now be stable. The data abort was caused by a fix that I introduced for QTM that caused an interacti...

If you've got any content at all in Word (or any other format), I can at least pre-populate some of the pages for you to speed things up a bit.JonAbbott wrote:Not yet, Paul has kindly created a stub for us, but I've not had any time to do anything with it.

Yes, RISC OS 3.11.
The PIAS 2 disks Daniel uploaded to the FTP server in the Kryoflux directory have SFS on them.

SquishFS (SFS module) breaks on later versions of ADFFS
After a bit of faffing around this evening looking at some PIAS discs for Daniel regarding a couple of games that LCDGameModes doesn't fix, it seems that the later versions of ADFFS have broken support for SquishFS. I'm using the most up to date version of ADFFS downloaded from the FTP server this e...

Re: AutoVIDC 2.09
On earlier machines, AutoVIDC monitors mode changes and sets the clock as necessary and also provides an API so third party applications can control the VIDC clock if they need to. On later machines, AutoVIDC disables the mode change monitoring and doesn't automatically set the VIDC clock but it doe...

Re: AutoVIDC 2.09
Hopefully, this is the last test version of AutoVIDC 2.09 that I've just uploaded to the FTP server Functionally it should be complete for Steve's use on using the 25.175MHz clock and it should reliably detect the available clocks on all machines under all circumstances.

Re: AutoVIDC 2.09
A quick update and I think I hit a bug in RISC OS.... Yesterday, I wrote a small BASIC module "exerciser" which I could re-configure to do a few different things. One of the things I did was to run a loop performing an RMLoad of AutoVIDC, access the SWI and then RMKill AutoVIDC again. The ...

Re: AutoVIDC 2.09
Hi All, Just a quick update, I've been doing a shed load of testing tonight and on one test of many on the A5000, the clock detection code didn't convert the number of interrupts to the correct clock speed as the value fell outside the configured range. Essentially, the number of interrupts was one ...

Re: AutoVIDC 2.09
As per the other thread, there's a new version of AutoVIDC 2.09 on the FTP server ready for testing.
It's much smaller than the previous test release and in fact it's now smaller than v2.07 with more functionality so that's a bonus

Re: AutoVIDC extASM issues
That's great news! :D :D Thanks for taking the time to look and confirming that I'm not entirely crazy. I'd moved the vars file as far forward in the make file as to be before the init file but no further than that. Anyway, I've rebuilt the module with FAST turned off and tested it on t...
