Re: ADFFS 2.41 on the Pi 2 running RiscOS 5.21 help needed please

Not sure how much effort ARMv8 needs - apart from the SWP problem, was there any other problem? It needs to handle alignment exceptions and several deprecated instructions that no longer work on Pi2. For Pi3 it needs SWP and a few more deprecated instructions. I still don't understand what differen...

ARMv7? I guess you mean ARMv8. Aemulor had ARMv7 compatibility since the release of the BeagleBoard version a few years back.

Re: Need some help - RiscPC RiscOS 3.70

RISC OS 3.7 has not yet the new filecore which supports long filenames. You need to work around the issue, e.g. by using raFS or X-Files or TBAFS or LongFiles. Or you just use a network FS supporting long filenames.

Re: ADFFS 2.61 beta

I wasn't even aware RC15 had been released, it wasn't announced for some reason. It was announced, but in the "News" section of the ROOL site https://www.riscosopen.org/news/articles/2017/04/21/greatest-hits-album-rc15-out-now and not in the "Announcements" in the Forum. hubersn

Re: ADFFS 2.60 testing

You're moving too fast for me...I currently face hardware problems with my A3000, maybe caused by the replacement PSU (the original PSU blew up a few weeks ago). If I can't get it stable again, I will try to resurrect the A310 instead.

Re: ADFFS 2.58 beta

I would now be able to help testing on Pi3 and Archimedes (A3000), the hardware is finally "ready to go".

Re: ADFFS 2.58 beta

I assumed a simple typo - "The target platform is Pi1, Pi2/3 probably aren't worth spending time testing" is the correct thing which also fits with the second part related to ARMv7 - where there is another typo, the first "ARMv7" probably means ARMv5/ARMv6.

Re: Simple KryoFlux questions

I had a bit of free time this weekend, and since my A5000 seems to not like my resurrection attempts, I decided to have a go at a simple frontend for kryo2apd (Java Swing). You can download the result here: http://www.huber-net.de/software/java/Kryo2APDSwingUI.zip Instructions inside the zip. You al...
