What refresh rate is your screen?
My first thought is its not changing the palette at the correct time during VSync, which is causing the palette to remain black.

Re: Wolfenstein 3D (Original) Abort on Data Transfer
Does it exhibit the same problem when HD installed? Instructions will be in !ADFFS.Obey.F1038801 Try the ADFFS script with the original floppy to see if its the script or the floppy images. Drop to Supervisor with the original floppy inserted, then: *ADFBootFloppy F1038801 I've just tried my origina...

Re: Partition Manager feedback
v1.03 03/05/24 beta attached, which adds NVMeFS support. Changes: GPT's MBR protective partition assumed to be valid if 1 sector too large The BPB_TotSec16 size check was wrong, causing FAT16 partitions greater than 65535 sectors to be invalid Altered FAT BPB_Media check to match Microsoft documenta...

Re: Gribbly's Day Out on the Arc
when playing the game through ADFFS the pitch of the music is different compared to playing it directly from double clicking the game ADFFS corrects pitch and music speed in quite a few games, this being one of them. It also corrects the game speed to match original hardware, although it was that, ...

Re: Gribbly's Day Out on the Arc
it loads up the background and shows Game On in text, but you then cannot do anything and I have to physically power off the machine. It also hangs when it loads the demo Updated obey.zip available that fixes this, it also details how to HD install the game. The next build of ADFFS will also includ...

Re: Blaston (1991) (Eterna)
Some sectors are missing from the floppy image, I'll re-image and update the OP and PackMan packages in due course. The disc images in the OP and the package have now been updated. There's also an updated obey.zip which adds the invulnerability cheat to the boot script...see the HD install notes fo...

Re: Gribbly's Day Out on the Arc
I've tracked the issue to the game's IRQ handler and have also reproduced the issue with the original game, unmodified, so it's not due to anything the script is doing. I suspect it's timing related and probably luck that it doesn't occur all the time. Disable the IRQ vector claim and remove all wai...

Re: Gribbly's Day Out on the Arc
It's an interesting issue. It's getting stuck in IRQ's, as despite single stepping for several hours yesterday the CPU didn't hit any code that wasn't an IRQ handler, be it VSync, Sound or Timer 1. Oddly the issue occurs when run directly or under the ARM3 JIT on a StrongARM but doesn't occur under ...
