Re: Wolfenstein 3D [32bit version] (2018) (JASPP)

Wait! In my haste I didn't even notice that the error message had changed!

I'll do some more experimenting and report back!

Re: Wolfenstein 3D [32bit version] (2018) (JASPP)

Thanks for your help Jon have you tried increasing the min value? I've tried increasing it to 1536K but that didn't seem to help the only way that error can occur is if its trying to run in MODE 49. Have you gone into the Choices on the Icon Bar app and switched it to MODE 13? You might also want to...

Thanks Jon, but that simply shifts when that Error is displayed from when !Wolf32 is opened to when it's clicked in the icon bar:

Re: Wolfenstein 3D [32bit version] (2018) (JASPP)

Are you getting an error? The only requirement off to top of my head is 160KB of screen memory. Using the awesome Arculator v2.0 here's what I get with a RISCOS 2 A3000 with 2 MB of RAM https://imgur.com/D176O4em.jpg (not sure why the icon is messed-up under RISCOS 2? I held down * to avoid booting...

Re: Wolfenstein 3D [32bit version] (2018) (JASPP)

Long shot but any chance the disk images could be released for those like me with less RAM or no hard disk?

The improved version released seems to need more RAM than the original?

I haven't found a way to get it to run so far on my 2MB A3000, maybe I've just not configured it correctly?

Re: Cannon Fodder (1994) (Krisalis Software)

It details how to create a correctly formatted floppy in the manual on p11 The manual would appear to be a lie, there is no Format button as described  Perhaps this was copy and paste mistake from another version, maybe the Amiga version? At a guess it's looking for a floppy with a "!Can...

Re: Gotek

I've actually been having issues with Kryoflux to Gotek when running the FlashFloppy firmware. I only know to do it by converting it to a Hfe image and when I did that the A7000's couldn't read the image. I might pay and download the HxC Gotek firmware, its just I'd need a few licences as I have a ...

Re: I'm new here - n00b questions

Thanks for the detailed reply Jon! Sorry for my slow reply and sorry you had to reply twice :o Essentially the current rights holders grant JASPP distribution rights. Ah! Understood. Does that dictate what format software can be released in? I notice many titles use JFD but some like Zool and Wolfen...
