Magnetoids

I've got the demo on an Acorn User magazine floppy (September 1994 - my first, and the day I got my A3010 as an 11 year old boy!)

Does anyone know if the full game has ever been released? I know people are having trouble finding Digital Symphony as well. It looks like Oregan just up sticks and left!

Re: Resurrecting the original ArcVenture series

I've just moved my school over to the hosted version of SIMS from Facility CMIS. Their remote app is hopeless! It can take minutes to login, load SIMS and pass the credentials through.

I wish I'd stayed self hosting.

Birds of War original

Hi Jon, The only version of Birds of War I own is the original retail set from 4D. I assume that I could image each disc and try to sort a naming convention out (there are six discs!) so when it asks for !BoW_Sound I know that's disc 3 etc. How can I run it from HDD using ADDFS? This is to give Stro...

Re: Resurrecting the original ArcVenture series

Cool. I still have my original Sherston demo disc that came with my A3010 Learning Curve pack in September 1994. It still works too! I used to love the demo of ArcVenture 3 - The Vikings. I've had a play on my A3010 and RISC PC (using StrongGuard). I'd be really excited if someone can sort these out...

Re: ADFFS 2.41 on the Pi 2 running RiscOS 5.21 help needed please

Does anyone know if Aemulor will be patched to run on 5.23? I've been emailing Neil today as I swapped my Pi from a v2.2 to a v1.0 to see if Aemulor would work on 5.23 RC15 with the older ARM CPU. It didn't. He did ask if I'd upgraded recently, so they must know there is a problem. It's a bit frustr...

Re: ADFFS 2.56 beta Branch through Zero

Just a quick update I haven't had chance to test.

It errors when running RISC OS 4.02 (ROM), but runs fine in RISC OS 4.29 - I'm keeping an eye out for 4.39 ROMs as that seems to be the best RISC PC version.

Re: ADFFS 2.56 beta Branch through Zero

Wierd as v2.51 worked just fine on RISC OS 6.20.

Error occurred on double clicking !ADFFS to load, previous version I had (v2.51) worked absolutely fine, even with 20MB left after the OS softload

ADFFS 2.56 beta Branch through Zero

Attached image.

On a StrongARM RISC PC running RISC OS 6.20 with 28MB RAM and 2MB VRAM. No podules, 486 co-processor installed.

Previous release worked fine. Same error occurs on my Raspberry Pi 2 running RISC OS 5.21.
