Re: MicroDrive 32M (2017) (JASPP)

Hi Jon, Yup, that's how I solved the sprite issue too. When I use AnyMode and go into the play of a golf course, I get the usual setup screen ok but when I actually try to play the game, I get the infamous 'Input Signal Out of Range'. Rt Clk shows the 2D hole no problem, it's only the 3D part of the...

Re: MicroDrive 32M (2017) (JASPP)

Hi Jon, Me causing trouble again. So, when I load this game, the first thing I see under RISC OS is the following message: Screen mode not available @ 130 7712768 The program used to run through this and just start up. After a reboot, it no longer does. The solution to this was to make sure !configu...

Re: Exodus (1997) (Artex Software)

Thanks Jon, So if I get that message with other programs, that's what's happening then, WIMP based programming. As always, you've taught me more. I'm really enjoying playing with RISC OS. It's an excellent OS. I like it so much better than Windows, any version. It just seems so well put together. Th...

Re: Exodus (1997) (Artex Software)

Hi Jon, I've gone one better than a file splitter. I've loaded up RISC OS 5.23 July 30 2017 edition on my Rasp Pi B. However, when I run !Exinstall I get an error.... Application may have gone wrong with description of Module 'TinyStubs' is not 32-bit compatible. My only option is to cancel at this ...

Re: Pipe Mania (1989) (Krisalis Software)

Sounds like you possibly have file corruption, either from the download or the copy process. If you download the full Archive and extract the JFD from it on a PC, you will at least be able to confirm there's no errors. I thought the same thing so that's what I did and lo and behold if it didn't wor...

Re: Pipe Mania (1989) (Krisalis Software)

Hi Jon, Final Edit on this post Jon. I took the JFD file and re-downloaded it. I then processed it on the A3010 after a clean boot and darned if it didn't work straight away. I am now suspecting one of 2 things..... The first download was not quite perfect but good enough to load most modules...... ...

Re: Pipe Mania (1989) (Krisalis Software)

Ok, what I'm getting is this:

Directory
'ADFS::0.$.!PipeMania' not found

!PipeMania is there though it shows as APP on the icon. Is that right?

Re: Pipe Mania (1989) (Krisalis Software)

Ok, hopefully only one more question. My Hard Drive is IDEFS::Part1.$ Will I have to change the F1028101 file to reflect that drive? I have tried that with bad results. F1028101 has this: ADFS Set Obey$Dir ADFS::0.$.!PipeMania DIR <Obey$Dir> and then the rest follows I think whatever this part of th...
