I remember the Archimedes World disk with MicroDrive had a virus (Feb 1992). And I think it was an Acorn Computing cover disk that had the infamous Icon virus.
If you are able to sanitize the disk of viruses I would love a copy of it as it's not on ArcArc.

Re: Let's get e-type working!
Ah sorry I didn’t see those directions! That sounds perfect, will give it a go! Will also see if I can figure out the boot sequence issue as well. Thank you for your help
Where can I find the scripting instructions for each BootFloppy code? Just for future reference, thank you!

Re: Let's get e-type working!
Interesting, I got it working too fast by putting in the first disk and running my modified !E-TYPE, but then after a reboot nothing works! All I can think of is I had the old !ADFFS 2.83 and updated it to the new 2.84 one and maybe there was something still in memory from the old. The closest I hav...

Re: Let's get e-type working!
That error will the protection failing as it will want to check disc 1 before prompting for disc 2. You won't require ADFReserveMemory - that's only needed on legacy machines to reserve memory for the flopping images. I don't know what version of E-Type you have as all the versions I've seen, SCN i...

Let's get e-type working!

Re: ADFFS 2.83
I wrote a really long response going into a lot of detail of the issues and how ADFFS doesn't currently let itself to what you're asking...which was subsequently lost because I'd taken two hours to write it and my login session had timed out! I stupidly didn't copy it to the clipboard before submit...

Re: ADFFS 2.83
it would be cool if there was more general purpose information about using ADFFS - like the whole "GOARM3JIT" and "ADFRemapVideoMemory" commands which basically can get any old game running, I don't think this is known about enough. Are you after information on how they work at ...

Just wanted to pop in again and say - thank you for doing this and keeping this project going all these years. I wanted to just add that I really think it would be cool if there was more general purpose information about using ADFFS - like the whole "GOARM3JIT" and "ADFRemapVideoMemor...

Re: Suggestion: Editable "ID3" tags for disk images
Valid point, I guess the artwork image could be bigger than the size of the entire disk image!
