Re: ADFFS 2.83
I wrote a really long response going into a lot of detail of the issues and how ADFFS doesn't currently let itself to what you're asking...which was subsequently lost because I'd taken two hours to write it and my login session had timed out! I stupidly didn't copy it to the clipboard before submit...

Re: ADFFS 2.83
it would be cool if there was more general purpose information about using ADFFS - like the whole "GOARM3JIT" and "ADFRemapVideoMemory" commands which basically can get any old game running, I don't think this is known about enough. Are you after information on how they work at ...

Re: ADFFS 2.83
Just wanted to pop in again and say - thank you for doing this and keeping this project going all these years. I wanted to just add that I really think it would be cool if there was more general purpose information about using ADFFS - like the whole "GOARM3JIT" and "ADFRemapVideoMemor...

Re: Suggestion: Editable "ID3" tags for disk images
Valid point, I guess the artwork image could be bigger than the size of the entire disk image!

Suggestion: Editable "ID3" tags for disk images
I just wanted to give a suggestion for a future ADFFS version - tags inside the files. This way they can tagged with the Name, Author, Publisher, License(?) and also artwork from the front and back of disks and also box artwork. Being able to see and edit this possibly as a sub menu or window from t...

Re: Can't create a disk image
You're in luck! There is a DOS version called OmniDisk that has a bootable FreeDOS version: http://www.shlock.co.uk/Utils/OmniDisk/OmniDisk.htm But yeah doesn't work with USB drives because they don't provide the kind of low level access required to read non-PC floppy disks. There is a roject called...

Re: Archimedes Chess
I had a crawl through the forums and got it working! I put GOARM3JIT 0 at the start of the !Run and GOARM3JIT at the end of it as you suggested in the Manic Miner thread, and it works! I'll have to remember that one  Also just learned about the "ADFRemapVideoMemory <mode> <memory>" co...

Re: Can't create a disk image
Until Jon comes along with a solution, I just wanted to let you know that if you have a PC with a floppy drive handy, you can also use OmniFlop . I personally use it on my Windows XP gaming machine and it works perfectly, but it also works on the latest Windows 10 as well. You just have to use Devic...

Archimedes Chess
After watching the recent Netflix show "The Queen's Gambit", I was reminded of an old Chess program for RISC OS that I had on floppy disk and used the play. I decided to image the floppy to an ADF and try it out on the Raspberry Pi, but it didn't run. Just wondering if there is any way to ...

Re: Screen image doubling / quadrupling issue
Not sure 5.24 is particularly up to date. Can you try a more recent SD image, such as RISC OS Direct? Or update your system with a nightly ROM. Looks like this https://forums.jaspp.org.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=241&p=1858#p1858 Oh my goodness, that's all it was! Downloaded RISC OS Pi RC1...
