It needs to handle alignment exceptions and several deprecated instructions that no longer work on Pi2. For Pi3 it needs SWP and a few more deprecated instructions.

Re: Birds of War original

I think the original can be HD installed, you need to copy all the disks into a directory. ADFFS contains a boot script for it (which might even contain HD install instructions), just overwrite !Run with it, comment out the first few lines that redirect to the floppy and add an ADFMount to mount dis...

Re: Resurrecting the original ArcVenture series

I'd be really excited if someone can sort these out! If we can locate copies for imaging/scanning etc and Mark gives permission, assuming the rights have now reverted to him, then I'm sure we can make them available for download once the manuals etc have been converted to PDF. I've found an old Cra...

Re: ADFFS 2.41 on the Pi 2 running RiscOS 5.21 help needed please

A few years back, RISCOS 5 relocated page zero to get the internal OS variable space out of application space. At the time myself, Adrian Lees (Aemulor dev) and Jeffrey Lee (RISCOS dev) had a detailed discussion about what was required for ADFFS and Aemulor to continue working with Page Zero protect...

Re: ADFFS 2.63 beta

The full zip of 2.63g is now on the dev site. CDFaker 1.01 can be found in development/cdfaker along with an Obey to mount a DOS partition as its unlikely you'll have enough space for many CD images if RISCOS is on an SD card - create a FAT32 partition in the SD card's free space within Windows and ...

Re: ADFFS 2.63 beta

Good to see you're back, I'll have a new build up soon with quite a few fixes. You won't be able to test HoMM2 yet as I've not made the updated CDFaker available. You'd also need to install it on a RiscPC and copy the files across, then manually modify the !Run as I've not created a ZIP version. I'l...

Re: Resurrecting the original ArcVenture series

Yep - I've tried on a RaspberryPi running Riscos - splat :( - I think it's only going to run on Riscos 3 You'd need to 32bit all the Modules and assembler and up it to at least 256 colours if its using 16 colour modes. If you have the source code that's achievable. I am missing the Egyptians discs ...

Re: Resurrecting the original ArcVenture series

Looks good, be aware that its very likely you'll see new issues once you test on physical, particularly on ARMv7.

Re: ADFFS 2.63 beta

Whilst getting KerBang! ready for release, I noticed the localised version of BASIC failed to load on ARMv3 but worked okay on ARMv4. I temporarily botched it to load and then noticed that certain CALL commands were causing register corruption. Further investigation highlighted several issues with t...
