Re: ADFFS 2.64 public beta

ADFFS 2.64c now available in the OP, which includes the GUI for imaging JFD files. There's little in the way of error checking at the moment, so ensure the output JFD file is dragged to a folder and its either automatically selected a recording file, or you've manually dragged one you've previously ...

Re: ADFFS 2.64 public beta

I guess this is for people with floppy drives who want to do their own disk images Indeed. Developing a GUI for floppy imaging and adding the ability to image as ADF has been outstanding for a very long time (over 6 years ), so I thought I'd make a start on it as a New Years resolution. The n...

ADFFS 2.64 public beta

There are no bug fixes or changes to ADFFS in this build other than to allow the Filer to image floppies into ADFFS as ADF. To create an ADF floppy image, insert the floppy and select "Image floppy\Image as ADF" from the Filer. Once complete select "Save as" from the Filer to save the ADF image to H...

Re: USB Joystick on the Raspberry Pi?

The website states it's "full featured shareware" so if it doesn't detect your Joystick, I suspect it doesn't work. I've tried it in the past for keyboard HID and found it just ignored keys it didn't specifically know about. No way for ADFFS to provide it's own mechanism to access USB joysticks dire...

Re: USB Joystick on the Raspberry Pi?

Do you guys know if there was any progress on this? It required a new API, of which there was no feedback, so didn't go anywhere. So, you are saying that with this "USB HID utility" I will be able to use USB joysticks with some ADFFS games? Where is that utility? And what games could I try? USB HID...

Re: ADFFS 2.63

I'll investigate. Turns out its a fatal bug in the way memory is allocated for the stub 32bit Modules. I've no idea how we missed it with all the testing we did, but it's taken me five hours to find it. I'll get it fixed an update the OP with a revised version. EDIT: OP now contains the fixed version

Re: ADFFS 2.63

Labyrinth title/options screen is too small. The rest of the game is OK, it's only this screen that is not being scaled. It's the mode it goes into - 640x480x4 - it's meant to look like that. Installed Quark on HDD and I get the same black screen. Just tried it on my pi-top and confirm the same iss...

Re: ADFFS 2.63

Congratulations on this, Jon!! You should be congratulating yourself, you did the bulk of the testing on this release. I will be testing all the compatible games I can in Christmas :) No need for further testing, this is the public beta release with no additional changes. Quark does not seem to wor...

ADFFS 2.63

Many bug fixes and additions, including a fix for a previously undocumented ARM7 core erratum that caused the JIT to fail randomly on ARM700, ARM710 and ARM7500. Improved support for games on Iyonix, all games that run on the Pu should now work on the Iyonix, provided they don't use a mode your moni...
