Re: ADFFS and Archimedes Zip Drive only

It sounds like ADFS and IZipFS are sharing the same filesystem number, but that can't happen!

Does the following show the contents of !Obey? Or report the same error?

Code: Select all

type adffs:!obey
And what does the following do:

Code: Select all

obey -c <adffs$dir>.!obey

Re: ADFFS 2.65 public beta

2.65j available in the OP, with the following changes: 32bit RISC OS JIT changes: Reads/writes to all hardware vectors are now handled (but ignored, except for IRQ) TSTP/TEQP/CMPP/CMNP were assuming the S bit were set, they now allow CPU mode changes without changing flags if S is clear OS_Byte 166 ...

Re: ADFFS and Archimedes Zip Drive only

Try booting with the CTRL key held and when you get the prompt type:

Code: Select all

obey -c adffs:!obey
Does the game run?

Re: USB Joystick driver

Thanks for the confirmation. I think the next things we need to look at are: Auto-map Joystick axis/buttons Add a Configure app to allow manual configurations to be saved on a per-device setting that override the auto-map, possibly also per-game overrides Allow buttons to be mapped to Up/Down/Left/R...

Re: USB Joystick driver

Inferno is crashing after very few frames after launch, ONLY if it's HD-installed. Have you mounted the floppy image? Its probably the disc protection failing. I don't believe this game saves the highscores, so you're better off having a !Run that mounts and boots the floppy and not actually HD ins...

Re: ADFFS 2.65 public beta

2.65g available in the OP. This fixes a bug in the MODE change process, that caused Bouncer and Stunt Racer 2000 to end up with screens 32 pixels high. The knock on effect however, is that some games that previously filled the screen on a Pi will now be letterboxed. eg. BlowPipe Technically, the let...

Re: ADFFS 2.65 public beta

Updated due to a bug in the Page Zero detection handler, which sometimes misreports a branch into Page Zero.

ADFFS 2.65 public beta

Re: USB Joystick driver

@Jon: That fixes the joystick controls, yes! :) Another overly complicated Joystick movement detection routine, I believe that's three or four I've now had to correct. I'm not surprised this one didn't work...just look at what the code does if the Joystick values are negative (ie &80..&FF), &80 (-1...
